Ketosis is metabolic state of being. Getting into ketosis is hard. You have to do the right ratio to force your body into utilizing your fat for fuel. I’ve taken the time over the last month to do it properly and I am feeling so much better.
The biggest thing I’ve noticed in a Ketosis Lifestyle
My energy has changed completely. I’m like the energizer bunny during the day, it’s crazy. Also, no brain fog, it’s all gone.

I also lost 10 pounds in a month. It melted off so quick I couldn’t believe it. Now that my body can go in and out of Ketosis, I’m playing with my fat to protein ratio and allowing for a little more carbs, which is where I want to be!
Standard day for me when wanting to be in Ketosis –
Breakfast – Black coffee with Bulletproof MCT Oil and heavy cream.
No Snacking
Lunch – Tuna, Cream Cheese and a little avocado.
No Snacking
Dinner – Protein (what kind changes daily) and spaghetti squash with butter and heavy cream.
That is what a typical day looks like getting into/staying in Ketosis. Is that everyday? Absolutely not. I can add in my favorite foods now and know how much I can have before I need to switch back to eating that way and that was exactly what I wanted out of this diet!
Two products I use to know if I’m in Ketosis
These are the test strips I use to quickly check if I’m in Ketosis. They are cheap! They test Acetoacetic Acid.
To Check if I’m making BetaHydroxibutaryte I use this meter. It’s more expensive to do it this way but it gives you a more in depth look.
