A year ago I started making bread stuffing from scratch, and I’m not going back to store bought. If you plan ahead just a little bit, you can too. I start a couple of days before the big dinner to make sure all of my bread is made and a little stale before I need it. If you don’t have enough time, you can always dry it out in the oven a little bit.

Simple and Savory Homemade Bread Stuffing

I use my own homemade sandwich bread for this recipe. I feel like this bread works the best for this homemade stuffing but if you have a different recipe just use that! This recipe is pretty versatile that way. I make this is a 9×13 pan. If you are hosting a big group of friends and family you can double this recipe very easily as well.
