  • Start by using your mandolin to slice your onions on the thinness setting.
  • Soak onions in milk for 15 minutes.
  • Mix flour, creole seasoning, garlic powder and salt together.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan to 375℉.
  • In batches take the onions out of the milk and toss in the flour.
  • Test oil to make sure it's hot enough.
  • Fry the onions in batches. This takes about 2 minutes for each batch. Using tongs stir if needed.
