Start by using your mandolin to slice your onions on the thinness setting.
Soak onions in milk for 15 minutes.
Mix flour, creole seasoning, garlic powder and salt together.
Heat oil in a frying pan to 375℉.
In batches take the onions out of the milk and toss in the flour.
Test oil to make sure it's hot enough.
Fry the onions in batches. This takes about 2 minutes for each batch. Using tongs stir if needed.
