Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Everyone will love these homemade chicken nuggets!

  • Food process chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and 2 eggs together until it makes a paste.
  • Put a piece of wax paper on your baking sheet and put the chicken mixture onto it.
  • Take your second sheet and place it on top. Use your hands to spread it out to the thickness you want. I typically do a half inch.
  • Place in freezer for 2 hours. You do not want these completely frozen, just enough to hold together and not fall apart as you are working with them.
  • After two hours, take the chicken out and use your cookie cutter to make individual nuggets. (You can also just cut into squares if you are short on time.)
  • Next, place flour, remaining eggs and bread crumbs in their own separate bowls.
  • Dredge in flour, then the egg, then the bread crumbs.
  • Repeat until all done.
  • Place in air fryer at 425℉ for 12 minutes or the oven at 350℉ for 20 minutes.

Notes

If you use a cookie cutter you will have leftover chicken. Let thaw and then reshape and freeze again. You will be able to make more out of that mixture.
