Peppermint Bark

Such a simple dessert with so much flavor. Try this recipe for a magical after dinner treat!

Instructions
 

  • Fill your pot a little below half of water, bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling reduce to a simmer and place glass bowl on top.
  • Break up Chocolate Bark and place in glass bowl over your simmering pot of water.
  • Use your spoon to constantly stir making sure it does not burn. Turn off heat if the chocolate starts to get dry.
  • When it is just about done, add ¼ tsp of peppermint extract and mix completely.
  • Pour onto parchment lined baking sheet and let set.
  • Melt White Bark and repeat the process. This time add ½ tsp Peppermint Extract.
  • Once done spreading, add your peppermint bits on top. Let set and then break into chunks.

Notes

Please note: The serving size is going to vary greatly on these. I put 40 pieces but you could very well end up with 20. It all depends on how small or large you break the pieces.
