Growing up my mom made a vegetable casserole every Christmas that had French fried onions on top. I swear that’s how she got me to like broccoli! It’s deliciously creamy but best of all? French Fried Onions on top. They are crunchy, salty, little bits of goodness that adds so much to a casserole dish.
Reasons to Make your own French Fried Onions

- Less preservatives, better for you! No one needs the long list of preservatives in their food if you are making them and using them. It’s healthier for your family.
- Everyone will be impressed. Simply taking the time to make something from scratch always leaves an impression. Friends and family will know you care when you go the extra mile.
Other ways to live with less preservatives…
